Worked for 1 hour and 25 minutes. I wrote for about half of the time.

Only worked for a little bit tonight because I spent quite a bit of time working on my presentation today.
Worked for 25 minutes on downloading a really slow article!

2-17-10 Wednesday (posted on Friday)

Worked for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I mostly looked up/downloaded some articles.

In Portland for a conference, my plan is also to use the time away to write.
Schedule/goals for the week:
2-17-10 Wednesday 2-4 hours
2-18-10 Thursday 4 hours
2-19-10 Friday 4 hours
2-20-10 Saturday 2-4 hours
2-21-10 Sunday 2-4 hours
I am thinking that if I get a lot accomplished in Portland for the next 5 days, then I might give myself another weekend away soon to do this again in Big Bear Lake:) I also need to get my presentation ready for this Saturday! Yikes:)

2-15-09 Monday (writing this blog on Wednesday)

10:37pm- I am so tired from the long weekend and from driving home from Southern California- but I have to write for 15 minutes
10:40pm- writing- working on the DAP section- looking at which articles I have in my DAP section first- 10:50- now I am going to look at my notes on Van Horn lit. review.
I wrote for 15 minutes.

2-14-10 Sunday

I wrote for 1 hour and 11 minutes today. Now that I am started, I just need to keep going. Sent Christy a rough draft I have been getting started on.

2-10-10

I am tryig to focus on writing and not reading. So far tonight I am doing pretty good with it. I have already worked on my DAP section of chapter 2 for 30 minutes of writing time. (7:15pm)

It is 8:15 and I am packing up to drive home. I have written for 1 hour and 15 minutes tonight. It is coming slow, but I feel like I am getting somewhere.

2-9-10 Tuesday

I wrote for 24 minutes tonight. I worked on my DAP section of chapter 2. I am planning on going to the library tomorrow night because I get so much more done there.

I have a writing journal that I keep and I did actually write for exactly 15 minutes on Sunday night:) I need to be writing more!

Tonight (2/9): 15 minutes of writing
Wednesday (2/10): work on proposal for 2 hours
Thursday (2/11): work on proposal for 1 hour (have a busy night with a training from 4-7)
Friday (2/12): work on proposal for 1 hour (driving to LA)
Saturday (2/13): 2 hours
Sunday (2/14): 2 hours
Monday (2/15): 2 hours

2-6-10 Saturday (writing blog on Sunday)

I worked on my proposal for 2 hours and 40 minutes yesterday. I wrote for some of that time. I also wrote notes as I read through some of my old writing and as I read an article. I feel like I am now getting some momentum. I am happy about this!

2-5-10 (posting this for Friday on Saturday am)

Rough week at work! I drove up to St. George to write with two other Doc students at a friend's condo for the weekend. It makes me sad that they are almost done with their dissertations and I am still working on my proposal. I worked for 30 minutes last night. It was a combination between reading my old writing from December and writing notes about it out to the side. I plan on having a productive day today!

2-3-10

Ok, I finally got myself to look at my proposal again. I need to start by looking at where I was at in the beginning of January with my writing and reading. So, tonight I started by reading through my notes and writing. I worked for an hour and a half tonight, but I didn't really write at all. I am just happy that I got started again. My goal is to continue reading through my current proposal and write notes as I am rereading it. Then, I will be reading to start writing and reading again.
